Our First Roadtrip

On a whim Stevie (my oldest daughter and I decided we would road trip from Oklahoma City to Waco, TX with Rigby my two year old grandson. It's odd how quickly we forget how much fun and how much work there is when traveling with a toddler. I learned quickly that I had not brought enough healthy snacks for the car or enough wet wipes to clean up the mess. We spent 3 days touring many of the great attractions that Waco has to offer. The Magnolia was everything I expected it to be. We found lots of really cool home accessories and had lunch at the food trucks that were in the court yard. Rigby had lots of room to play and we learned that he's bit of a flirt. He found a group of beautiful young ladies, quickly made friends with one and made himself comfortable on her lap; then gave her a rock as gift. He wouldn't leave her alone and I think she liked him too. If you get a chance visit The Magnolia. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the atmosphere is great for families.
